The 99s Professional Pilot Leadership Initiative

The Ninety-Nines Professional Pilot Leadership Initiative represents the only structured one-on-one mentoring program for women pursuing professional pilot careers!

The 99s Professional Pilot Leadership Initiative aims to accelerate the advancement of women in all pilot professions by providing highly motivated 99s members with the tools to develop their careers and leadership abilities, through guided activities and formal mentoring partnerships with experienced women pilot professionals.

Starting from the premise that each individual is responsible for her own career advancement, this structured mentoring program represents an opportunity for highly committed woman pilot participants to receive one-on-one mentoring, learn new career skills, share what they know with others, and become active participants and leaders in the aviation community.

If you are a 99s member pursuing or planning any professional pilot career, you are encouraged to apply to the 99s Professional Pilot Leadership Initiative. Please thoroughly review the program description in the Fact Sheet before submitting the Application.

If you are an experienced woman professional pilot and 99s member, and are in a position to be a mentor to other women pilots but are not looking for mentoring yourself, we could use your help.

We call our mentors "Navigators." Please thoroughly review the program description in the Fact Sheet first, then submit the special Senior Navigator Application.
