ELIMINATING PILOT ERROR by Nina Anderson This training workbook is the final step in flight training. It gives us reasons why pilots make mistakes even though they are proficient in handling the aircraft. Diet and lifestyle can determine how well you fly at a particular time. Both the video and the book educate pilots about how they can maintain proficiency by supporting brain function and how they may react to extraneous factors such as environmental toxins and food substances. This book explains simple procedures each pilot can take to reduce mistakes. Nina Anderson is an ATP with over 5000 hours; she has type ratings in the BS125 (Hawker) and NA 165 (Sabreliner). She has worked in all phases of aviation from dispatcher, weather briefer, aircraft salesperson, airline pilot and corporate pilot. Nina retired from commercial flying a little over 8 years ago and has devoted her time to writing health books on aviation, pet health, anti-aging and sports nutrition. She holds a BA from Monmouth College and is an ISSA certified Specialist in Performance Nutrition. A pilot for 30 years, she currently runs seminars for pilots on the physiology behind pilot error. Nina is also the author of The Backseat Flyer, Human Factors and Pilot Error (a video), and co-author of seven other books. Visit her website for more information.
